OUR ASBESTOS SERVICES
Asbestos Surveys
Anglian provides two types of asbestos survey:
- Management survey
Intended to enable the management of asbestos within premises from a perspective of occupational risk to health
- Refurbishment and demolition survey
Required prior to any works being carried out which will disturb the fabric of the building. This survey covers the whole building where refurbishment is to take place.
Asbestos Removals
Asbestos must be handled with extreme care, both in live buildings and during demolition. Our team is qualified for licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal.
We are an HSE licensed removal contractor with a management team that will work in partnership with you to implement practical site-specific solutions for any asbestos removal. Anglian will programme works to suit the timescale of your project, ensuring no unnecessary delays.
Asbestos encapsulation
As soon as asbestos has been identified on a survey, it must be safely managed. Removal may not always be the most appropriate or viable process so encapsulation is an alternative service we offer.
Encapsulation involves painting the hazardous material using a specialised sealant. This creates a protective shield which prevents it from being damaged and degrading, ensuring the fibres cannot be released into the air.
