HGV Technician – Attleborough, Norfolk

Anglian Demolition & Asbestos Ltd is looking for a HGV Vehicle Technician to join the Team, working on a fleet of commercial vehicles at our workshop in Attleborough, Norfolk NR17 1AN.

We are looking for a professional vehicle technician to perform a full range of inspections, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, trailers. We are looking for a team player who takes real pride in their work, ensuring the job is done in an effective and safe manner, working with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and tidiness.

The Successful candidate must have previous experience of working on commercial vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, working on a wide range of vehicles through previous positions or hold a relevant qualification in IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification (desirable). Class 1 driving licence. Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and have the ability to prioritise operational requirements

There will be the development opportunity to learn and support on HGV and Plant servicing.

Duties Include:

• Liaising directly with the Transport Manager
• Servicing and maintenance of our commercial vehicle fleet
• Diagnostic and fault finding
• Repair running defects
• Repairs to include mechanical and ancillary equipment, hydraulics, chassis and bodywork, ensuring that repairs are carried out efficiently and cost effectively
• Completion of necessary paperwork to ministry standards

Experience:

• HGV mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
