One Year On: The Growth Continues for Anglian

We’re not quite sure how we’re already near the end of the year, but oh what a year it’s been! 365 days ago, we were crowned Large Business of the Year 2022 at the Norfolk Business Awards supported by the Eastern Daily Press, Local IQ and sponsored by Jarrold Training.

The theme for the 2022 awards was growth and recognising the resilience that local businesses have had to endure in aftermath of the pandemic, rising fuel costs, the cost-of-living crisis and rising interest rates.

Anglian’s success in 2023 has continued where 2022 left off, posting our best years figures to date – thanks to the hard work and dedication of the 100+ members of the Anglian Team.

Further to our success at last years’ awards, our Director Toni Storer was invited to be part of the judging panel for this year’s Large Business Award. A role which she relished as it meant doing one of the things she does best, speaking to other people and businesses in the community.

Toni commented: “I was thrilled to have been asked, and I loved being part of the judging team for this year’s Norfolk Business Awards. It has given me the opportunity to not only speak to businesses about my own experiences but to see how they work and gain inspiration to bring back into my own businesses and charities.”

Toni has also been asked to judge the Unsung Community Hero of the Year award at the Stars of Norfolk & Waveney Awards 2023 and will be attending the ceremony on the 30th November to present the award!

We would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations to all the nominees. To those that entered but didn’t reach the final, keep up the great work in promoting Norfolk throughout business world!
