Anglian Demolition in action at RAF Marham

Anglian’s Major Projects Team carried out the works to provide part of the new infrastructure necessary to support the RAF's new F-35B Lightning aircraft at RAF Marham.

Works included the controlled demolition of a 45,000ft² WWII Type C Hangar, located between to other operational hangars – along with associated buildings.
Previously, Lee Storer (Anglian’s MD) had written a paper on the demolition of Type C Hangars, which won the Institute of Demolition Engineers best Technical Paper – subsequently this formed the template of Whitehall’s (MOD) preferred methodology.
