In May of 2013, approval was granted for 66 new homes to be built in the the Suffolk village, Trimley St Martin. The 7.6 acre site was being utilised as a mushroom farm, however, the owner of the business decided to retire. The farm required major investment if it was to continue, which is when Suffolk Costal Councillors granted permission for the new housing development site.

Anglian were awarded the demolition of the mushroom farm, which was a key phase in the development of the site. Asbestos surveys and removals had to be carried out as the outbuildings contained the hazardous material. We were able to carry out full demolition and site clearance, within 10 weeks, ready for the next stage of the process.
